My Mesmer doesnt get much playtime in pve.
What are your favorite things to do with your mesmer excluding pvp, we all know a mesmer shines in pvp but im looking for places that would be great for a mesmer..elite missions..solo farms..ect..
Whats your favorite thing to do in pve with a mesmer?

Abuse PvE skills with AP for the lolz. Mainly for the Fast Casting though, watching something cast skills super fast is pretty awesome. Oh, and using Arcane Conundrum, Migraine, Frustration, Sum of all Fears on an enemy is pretty funny too.

Personally my mesmer is my main character, he's the one that goes out and does everything from vanquishing to guardian to whatever. If you're looking for areas where mesmers shine, both Shiro and Abaddon get completely owned by mesmers. I was the key to my guild beating Kanaxai because I could interrupt his Nightmare Refuge with Cry of Pain or Power Drain each time he tried to cast it. I take my mesmer raptor farming, he's been to the UW solo a few times...there's really not much that a mesmer can't do when compared to other classes.

Most people on the forums think that mesmers are worthless in PvE because of their primary attribute, and while I can't argue that it's good (again, for PvE purposes), I can definitely say I don't have more fun with any other class.

Watching my heroes Discord everything in sight as I have fun with completely useless things - such as slowdowns and throwing Ether Lord (one of my all-time favorite hexes!) on everything I can.

Well I do like to perma, whether it be in UW or FoW. I also like to cry in the latter as well as in other SC's that our guild specializes in.

use AP+other PvE skills to own pretty much anything. farm with echo SF and such. mesmers can also be used for cryway teams.

Heres my new favorite build, you can shut down pretty much every thing with this build.

Technobabble, Extend Conditions, Glyph of Immolation, Steam, "You Move Like a Dwarf!", Power Return, Power Drain, Leech Signet

Inspiration: 15
Water: 11
Fire: 3
Fast casting: 6

Make sure you have rank 8 Asura so you get the full 5 sec daze
and use a Silencing (Lengthens Dazed duration on foes by 33%) caster spear.
Just find a mob and daze, blind and cripple them all.
Works best if you have a minion master or 2 so the minions with interrupt all there casters.
Not to much damage but still fun as hell.

Or just abuse FC for fast casting nuking/CoP+Discord spam/any thing else you want to do because mesmers are awesome.

let's see...my favorite things to do with my mesmer:

1. pwn torment creatures/destroyers because empathy makes them child's play.
2. wipe the floor with Shiro, for the same reason as above.
3. be a fast casting necro with discord, CoP, and necrosis.
4. throw around Visions of regret and pretend I'm my own Cryway team as the 95's pop up.
5. Use random pve skills with signet of illusions or echo.

everything. mesmer is my main and i honestly don't have fun playing anything besides mes and sometimes war anymore. its a diverse, powerful class, with tons of options.

pve: AP+ebon sin spam/CoP for auto win anything

pvp: I can't even begin to explain how good we are in pvp..

I don't PvE with mesmer, but I'm pretty sure Signet of Illusions + PvE skills would be pretty awesome. Like those skills where you spawn lvl 21 allies.

There used quite allot in UW,for clearing the chamber.

Job can be done with a sin or mes,but meh..mesmers look better.
